The 306A Sheet Metal Worker Red Seal exam is Canada's national certification for sheet metal tradespeople working in HVAC ductwork fabrication and installation, architectural sheet metal, industrial exhaust systems, and commercial building work. The Red Seal 306A is recognized in all provinces and territories.

The exam consists of approximately 100 multiple-choice questions based on the 2023 Red Seal Occupational Standard (RSOS) and aligned with SMACNA HVAC Duct Construction Standards, with a passing score of 70%. Exam time is 3 hours.
